Thursday. Some more rain during the night. Stopped now though.
A very good night's sleep, I could get used to this! :o}
Only one item on the calendar today. Pick up a prescription from the chemist, a bit of shoplifting in Tesco, then a mountain of admin at home. that's today sorted!
Took my new mate to see the delights of Dursley yesterday, He'd never been there, got caught in the rain. Such is life!
I'm going to make a ham and egg pie today, I haven't made one for years, Should be fun.
Have a happy day everyone.

ok, but i could do with straight sleep, these days i am waking up every two hours..plus the weird dreams give me a headache...

I am, so's he, but it was nice to get out for a couple of hours for some essential shopping. .
Good morning, Boaty.

>>> A very good night's sleep, I could get used to this!

I wish could say the same! The steroids I have to take at the start of each course of chemo alwways give me insomnia, so I've hardly slept at all recently. However I've finished with those tablets for the time being so, feeling rather tired, I went to bed at 9.50pm last night.

Annoyingly though there was a helicopter circling around overhead, keeping me awake. It would stay about for a bit and then disappear for several minutes before coming back again. Every time I thought that I might be about to doze off it returned once more! That carried on for three and a half ruddy hours (until 1.20am), by which time I was then wide awake!

I gave up trying to sleep at 3.15am and I've been pottering around (doing lovely little jobs, like clearing a blocked loo!) ever since then.

I think that I might go back to bed again soon though, in the hope of getting just a little bit of sleep before the army base down the road stick more choppers up in the sky!

In the meantime though, I'm wondering which supermarket currently has the best deals on ground-to-air missiles? I reckon that Asda might be cheapest but I could get Clubcard points at Tesco and probably a far more accurate product from Waitrose, don't you think?

;-)
Good morning Emmie too!
i can only manage a short while, but at least i don't have to get any shopping as such as have online delivery
later on this morning. Saves all that hassle of queueing
Ahoy Captain and First Officer Ems.
Yes rain here on Wirral.
Mrs T can give the washing machine a day off.

That's not good emmie. It's impossible to stop the dreams, sadly, I don't usually remember dreams, we all dream all the time, but most of them are not remembered. I do usually remember dreams that involve Vera, they are always good. It will be nine years in October.
morning Chris

perhaps you can get some zzzz's in later on
morning Theland

Hi Chris.
Yup, I'll try to get some sleep fairly soon (cats willing), I think, Emmie

Good morning, Theland.

Yes, it's always good to get the really important jobs out of the way, isn't it, Boaty?
