Anyone watching NTA with David Walliams? He loves himself, doesn't he?

He's very ebullient , true - not a job for a shrinking violet I guess.

Only had a brief look.

Silent Witness on soon.
It's part of his TV persona.
I loathe the creepy camp schtick persona he has draped around himself, he is obviously a clever man, quite why he feels the need to come on like a cross between Uriah Heep and a mac flasher is utterly beyond me.
No, don’t like him, it’s ‘bitty’ with no continuity
Not watching. I loved Little Britain and Come Fly With Me, and went to a live show, but he makes me cringe now.
I used to like Little Britain, but find him unwatchable by himself (Not a huge fan of Matt Lucas by himself either, but he's the lesser of two evils).
How this camp, creepy man ever wooed the gorgeous Lara Stone, got her to marry him and have a child with him, is an enduring mystery to me (and, I daresay, to Lara Stone).
Ditto to AH and brainiac's comments.
Away from Walliams and on to the NTAs themselves, they seem to be very soap-centric. Half the awards are indistinguishable from the National Soap Awards. Maybe they should consider merging the two?

Thanks for the list mamya I didn't watch it. So pleased to see Peaky Blinders and Cillian Murphy won awards. Tom Hardy should have won one as well:-(
And lovely Michael Palin.
i don;t like him at all, i find him very creepy.
Great to see Michael Palin had a special recognition award, always enjoyed his travel programmes.I have never watched Peaky Blinders so cannot comment. However regarding Mrs Brown’s boys,Ant and Dec and I’m Celebrity don’t get me started or we’ll be here all day.

Was hoping Derry Girls ( Comedy) and Bradley Walsh (TV Presenter) would win.
"ant and dec" did barely any work last year!
I don't understand how Ant and Dec can keep winning. As for I'm a celebrity.............. I cannot understand anyone who finds that entertaining. Probably the same people who vote, and vote for Ant and Dec. I don't like David Walliams anymore either, not funny at all.
Question Author
I thought he looked disgusting with no trousers on, not funny at all
Can't watch anything with Walliams in it, he is OTT in everything he does.
Mrs Browns Boys beating Fleabag and Afterlife tells you everything you need to know about the voting public......
I'll be honest, I have never voted for anyone in the NTA so never really mind who wins.

I can understand being disappointed if you did and your choice didn't get recognition.
