As long as I’m at fault I’ll say sorry and accept I was wrong,
How about you?

Every time.
No problem if I discover I was in the wrong, will hold my hands up and apologise.
Absolutely I will and have done so last night and today.

Didn't get me very far but I felt better. :-)
If I'm ever wrong (which I find to be almost unimaginable anyway) I'll let you know the answer to your question ;-)
Not often wrong Chris, but often a bit late.....joke, honest.x
Like you, I apologise when I’m wrong. What I find annoying is when someone says that they are sorry that they have upset you for something they have said or done instead of saying sorry for their actions.

Milo if I say sorry, I mean it otherwise it’s futile
I agree Bobbi.
Milo, you are describing a form of tendency toward appearance over substance.

I also don’t hold a grudge ( otherwise I wouldn’t be on here , hehe ) mind you I only turn my cheek only once
Karl, you are right. They appear to be saying sorry but as you say there is no substance to it as they are only sorry that you are upset not sorry for their actions.
It's also a bit like judging people by what other people say about them, I never do and form my own opinion.
Question Author
I’d hope when I say it , it’s believed

Good point TonyV
Why would you make a judgment of someone on what another says?
I’m still friendly with an ex sister in law, I divorced my husband ,not his family
Frankly I think it's very easy to say you're sorry. I prefer people not to say and do things that upset others, that they are later sorry for - that's much harder.
No problem

It’s not hard if it’s meant, what I find ‘nasty’ are those that join forces without foundation to be horrible , I find these people ‘weak’ its like enemy by association , that to me is unacceptable
Enemy by association? Is that actually a ‘thing’?
Question Author
Yes, it can be
“I don’t like her/ him, so neither will you
Agreed. I will always apologise.
But I hate people who keep apologising for no reason.
