Glad to see the return of his quirkily excellent black comedy. First two episodes shown tonight, then 2 more each night through to Thursday. Or get it all on All 4. May watch tomorrow night's episodes as aired but may not be able to resist binge- watching the final 4.

I never said it was a 'comedy', people. I said ts a 'black comedy' - dark humour (and is billed as such) - making light of the subject matter (murder) in much the same way as Fargo and Guilt.

Yes it is funny in a dark sense. Some of the ways he imagines killing the female does get me chuckling. In that sense, it is a comedy but I wouldn't have branded it as such.

Spath, it's done so 'tongue-in-cheek' that it couldn't be classed as serious drama. And it's definitely not a laugh out loud comedy, so it sits in between. However it is categorised, it is quite a good watch. At least we agree on that :-)

Just watched episode 8. Another good series though i doubt there's scope for a 3rd.
