We had a downpour about an hour ago in South London. I was on the school run and lucky it stopped minutes before I got out the car.

Having said that, I like watching heavy rain when I'm indoors and don't need to go anywhere :o)

You could do something really exciting like go to Boots and get your flu jab (highly recommended, far less hassle than going to the surgery for it).
Then come home, take the dog for a walk in between showers, forage in the fridge and find a meat pie you’d forgotten about, and open a nice bottle of Soave.
