Mullaghmore village and the beautiful beach was somewhere I knew as a child. Many lovely memories from there. The horror of the remote controlled bomb was unbelievable. As to your question? I think all sides were shown with respect.
I hadnt realised that it was the same day
in real time the Irish contingent partied far into the night - we all thought Christ, and left them to it.

I marvelled at the careful planning to blow a 78 y o and a 83 to kingdom come - as a political objective....

and the fifteen y o Irish lad o what the hell - he just got in the way. Like Colin Parry in Wigan High. But just think ! they were sacrificed for Irish Freedom.

The bomber is still alive and thinks every day about the two young lads he killed - oh yes sorr every day - notting else
I thought fracking hell- thank god for the Good Friday agreement
