Mamya, the poor love, has hurt her humerus, well, damaged it and finds posting music clips too painful at the moment.

Now, as for you and your pot, I daren't ask lol xx
It's been a rough and erratic week, hopefully I'll get a thread started tomorrow. xxx
Hope you're feeling better Mamya x
"...havering her pot off" - translation please, Arky - is this some strange Manchester practice?

I too send my best to Mamya :-) x
Is Mamya having a night off the pot?

Don't know. But I assume she only takes it for medicinal reasons; as Albaqwerty points out, she's been in some pain recently.
Question Author
It is Manchester slang... or generally oop north thing.. pleased you are doin' well on and not just onto the weed again. Xx

Song for you...

Gee thanks Arky! I'm none the wiser as to the phrase's meaning & all this wine isn't helping to make sense of your funny Norvern ways ;-)

Mamya will understand, I didn't even say 'chuck' so you cockneys would understand.
"Cockney"! How very dare you!?

Born in Paddington (a hospital, not the bear), grew up North London.

Knowing that Mamya would know doesn't get me closer to knowing.

Stop equivocating. Explain. Now. I'm in need of my pit & shan't sleep unless I know.

For sweet mother of lord it was a quip, firstly to give her a laugh... and just wondered if she'd had her pot taken off her arm that is an aid to help her . It was meant as a double quip is all.... take your time.
Oh right! "Pot" = "plaster cast" - ah-ha! Gotcha! Innit!

Still don't know what she's doing in Havering though... ;-)

Yes, hope you're back as soon as mamya x
Well - you two got all in a fuddle, no pot/cast involved which is good as they are heavy.

So stop your havering and get out in the fresh air for a kick about.

Thanks everyone ♥
