I haven't decided yet whether I'll ask any questions today. That will depend upon what surfaces in the news or elsewhere so keep your eyes peeled. However, since one or two have been complaining lately about the lack of interest the AnswerBank is generating, currently I'm simply attempting to encourage discussion to help alleviate that, so thank you for contributing to this thread. He is a supporting actor, he is acting the part of a parliamentarian - but his party is the Party of Opposition, so by default, he does have considerable influence on the government.
That is not conditioned by his need to know how to use it effectively, more's the pity.

It's times like this when the Opposition should be holding the government to account and incisively pointing out its errors, and the Opposition's plans to do better when they are elected.
These are the times when votors seriously look at the government, and the alternatives, except today, there aren't any!
