The main idea seems to be oh look the Queen lives in a council house when in reality it paints a pretty accurate picture of what would happen under Agent Cob.

I read the 1992 book, haven't seen this latest version.
in order for it to be an accurate picture, it would require labour to be campaigning on a republican platform. at this time neither Corbyn or his party are doing this, also at this time public opinion would not support a party that did advocate abolition. dismantling the monarchy would require much primary legislation and the drafting of a written constitution, both would take years. tony benn's 1991 commonwealth bill was debated on and off in parliament for nearly ten years, without it ever getting to a second reading.
If it's half as funny as the book, the film would certainly be worth watching. Ignore TTT's mini synopsis.
Agreed , the book was a laugh out loud read, she writes so well.
Agree, the book was hilarious.

that's the point mush, the socialists completely mis managed the country as usual. Abolishing the monarchy was just a vehicle to show us that.
Not seen it; but it's irresponsible for T³ to push for a Labour government until we've left the EU.
Can’t bear Samantha Bond. Switch over when she comes on anything
I've seen it and I thought it was really funny except I can't stand David Walliams.
