...outside. Has been building up over the past few nights. Thankfully Sally is curled up at my feet. Spraying Pet Rescue Valerian seems to help a lot. Stinks though...but worth it for a calm dog.

The same. can hardly hear the TV.
Bad but I think it will be worse on the 5th. Mine have had xanax which has helped a lot. I have got 80’s radio on loud as well
My two shooters are scrabbling at the back door wanting to find dead stuff. Their Mum is curled up in the corner behind an armchair...
I just don't see why they have to be so loud.
Extremely noisy but, thank goodness, Tilly doesn't mind. I did, in the past, have a rescue dog that was terrified by fireworks and November was a very stressful month.

The 'Crash, Bang, Wallop.' CD is a godsend!
Its awful like Beirut and we are very rural. I don't know what some people are thinking knowing there is stock in fields. My horses are inside the barn with light on doors shut and Classic FM on loud. Bet my hens will not lay tomorrow either.
Remarkably quiet here. Yes, there have been some fireworks going off but they've all been fairly distant and my four moggies don't seem to have been bothered by them. It's silent outside now.
I just wish it were illegal to ignite pyrotechnics on other than specified dates. Obviously 5th November is a historical British occasion. May be other occasions should be the subject of debate. New Year perhaps?
Tet NO or any other rituals or celebrations not pertinent to this country and it's history or traditions. Pyrotechnics are being made more and more potent and explosive. Too many idiots are incapable of handling them and more restrictions should be imposed.. Tantamount to giving hand grenades to loonies and why should our hard pressed emergency services have to deal with the aftermath of those who are mentally challenged?
Sounds like the Somme battlefield must have done under a barrage.
Fairly quiet here, but I am also a fan of Pet Rescue, so they have had a couple of sprays each.
It really does STINK though.
Son bought a plug in for his cat a couple of years back, and found it was making HIM relaxed too !
I really don't understand why people waste their money on fireworks.
My " wee friend " is so unhappy .We have tried most things over the years .:-(
It's calmed down here now. Hopefully, that's the end of it, even though it doesn't personally affect me/ us.
It's calmed down here now.

It seems to have here to, just the odd wiz bang.

I've got a Pet Rescue plug-in also. Maybe that's why Sally is a bit calmer...though actually I think it's "expired". I've had it for a year. It might help your cat, Anne. Though it affected my late moggie, Amber, like catnip.
It's been lovely here, Pasta...in that the few displays we have seen have been from the upstairs window and in the distance so there has been no noise...

It's when the smaller back garden fireworks start on the 5th that it's annoying.....
The fireworks can be so pretty but why they have to make such a noise is beyond me...surely it detracts from the colours and displays?

Anyone who could invent silent fireworks would make a mint.
I live in an elevated position. Even when there's the National Fireworks Championships in the city centre they can be heard up here. That's 1.5 miles away. There's no escape!!
pasta, there are quiet and silent fireworks.
