Yesterday was warm and sunny. We had over 110 visitors. A pleasent day. We went to the Ship in Thornbury for dinner. A very enjoyable evening.

A routine sort of day today.

He's great thanks. Second tooty peg is coming through. He's eating anything I give him but he's particularly fond of porridge mixed with yoghurt and cauliflower and celeriac purée.

But my God, the stinky nappies ... !!

Good morning all.

Southend won (at Bristol) yesterday and Colchester lost (at home to the Cobblers), so life's good.

Had a 5 minute power cut yesterday so had to dig out the manuals to find out how to reset appliance clocks, pond circuit breakers etc. They're all different!

Arrods, powercuts were a daily occurrence during my days in Spain. Sometimes we'd have to call the energy companies late at night and they'd deploy their handymen.
