...I wonder who has the job of polishing the new studio set, it looks like a mirror. So does the BBC News Channel desk for that matter.

Are the sets not computer generated? When we used to watch Mastermind none of the set looked like it did on TV, in fact it was pretty shabby.

Pointless moved from Elstree to the old Television Centre at White City which probably explains the new set.

However they have recently moved back to Elstree, so perhaps you will soon see the old set again
