Has 'the Beast' Bitten You Yet.?

We have been hearing warnings about the 'Beast from the East' , heavy snow from Siberia for days now. Here we have had a few minor flurries of snow but nothing has settled.
However the local rail network has announced that services will start to be withdrawn from 6pm and cancelled entirely from 10pm with no bus replacement. They are going to look pretty stupid if, as looks likely we get only a few millimeters of snow or even none at all. So has The Beast from the East, bitten you yet? North Herts/South Cambs border.
