I know there is a thread currently going re SKY TV.

However i don't want to hijack it with my related question , which is -

I take it that a contract period for existing customers ; starts from the last change of service ,

So if there has not been a change of service for 18 ,months plus ; i take it you can leave without incurring any penalties - is that correct ?

I was told a few days ago when I cancelled my Sky, that I would have to pay fully till January, when my contract runs out, or keep it till then.
bazile is talking about after the initial contract is expired already.
