Thursday. Lots of cloud about this morning, quite a strong wind making it's presence known. Looks like summer is over! Nice while it lasted.

Got to be away early this morning, picking a mate up and taking him to hospital for an appointment. So must be away by 0830.

The hospital is about 20 minutes from my mate's house. He can't drive, he's very unsteady on his feet now.

Morning Birdies, Ill not be on long this morning, off for Gall bladder op. Just putting a bag together and have a shave. Cloudy and cooler this morning, still no rain to speak of. Just a heavy shower yesterday afternoon. Will take my lappie with me and try to get on later. Usually send you home, but the anaesthetist want to keep me in overnight for observation. See about that when I get there. See you all later.

fine ta Boaty, yesterdy I visited friend that had new knee op last week and ended up cutting his grass and watering all his pots...he is doing well but in a lot of pain still....came home and spent ages watering everything as the predicted deluge did not happen...till.....I had just finished and then the heavens opened !! GGGRRR
