When I was a teenager, and in my early 20's, I backpacked around Europe with my YHA card and a Interail ticket. Those holidays were wonderful. One year I was in the Arctic circle at Narvick in Norway and 4 days later I was on the beach at Nice !

I met people who I am still friends with all these years later.

In my late 30's and 40's I drove coast to coast in America, on Route 66 and I would dearly love to do that again now. The scenery out in the Far West is breathtaking.

I have travelled a lot but not yet seen the world. I haven't been to the Antipodes.

I have been to South America, but there's a few countries still to see, so I would like to visit again.

i have visited a fair few places, not least Italy, where i would love to go back

I love New Zealand, if I were to live anywhere other than here, that's where I would pick.

I would like to travel more, take the kids to exciting places before they get old enough to refuse ;-)

Yes I have, Emmie.....but getting less inclined. Don't know whether it's my age or the hassle of flying.....or just my last holiday....but I like being at home...

I will always go back to Ireland but i'f I could magic myself back to anywhere it'd be Hawaii......just lovely and I adored the people...x

Mostly places in Europe, I did go to Kenya for four months a long time ago. Probably won't go back again.

As a child I lived in Singapore, visited Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur and sailed back via Suez canal stopping off along the way, sadly I have only the vaguest memories. I've been to New York 3 times when I had an american husband but I'm now a stick in the mud for travelling, Menorca for summer holidays and Antigua for Christmas every year.

Done travels in East Africa and India among others. These would be the places I would re-visit but long haul flights are out of the question now.

It's sometimes too easy to sit on a beach and go back to the same places time and time again. There is an awful lot of the world out there to see.

I am shockingly badly travelled. However, I would go back to Florence or Kenya at the drop of a hat.

I used to love Kenya. And Zim but now, due to how the white farmers and some tourists are being treated there, they can stick their tourist trade up their *** and it serves them right. Just my opinion of course

Barmaid, we are going to Florence in 10wks or rather to Viareggio and taking train trips to florence, Pisa etc.

Nope. I've always been too poor. I only had 4 week long holidays as a child. We used to have the occasional daytrip to the coast. I went to Great Yarmouth twice, butlins at skegness once and Blckpool once. As an adult I've been to Gran Canaria twice, Majorca twice, Spain and the USA once. The USA trip was funded by my online friend, who invited me as part of her bucket list. It was amazing to meet her at last. I also once had a daytrip to Calais because I was spending a week in Kent
