Sting was singing the great "message in a bottle" on McIntyre last night and the moronic audience slaughtered it with their inane clapping. Tie their brainless *&^(ing hands together. Death's too good for them! rant over!

Be grateful you don't live with me - I always sing "Massaging my bottom" to it.
He openly encouraged audience participation on the segment I watched, performers often do.
Is that you, Sting?
When I was a small boy once a week I would be taken to the ice cream parlour run by his father.
Agree.
I always hate it when the Wimbledon slow handclap the challenge to a line call.
And when they playback sporting highlights to music
I went to Teacher's Training College with him. He "backed" me when I was singing in the college's folk club. :)

I also can't stand it when the audience sings along with the words. I paid my money to hear the star sing, not the audience.
Same thing happens on Strictly Come Dancing as soon the dancers come on the guest singer is drowned out with the monoric clapping, worst example of this was when they had Andrea Bocelli on couldn't hear him because of this inane applause!
Doesn't bother me at all !
Had a group singing at our local club 2 weeks ago who tried to get everyone to join in and sing (hate that!!).
Someone asked if she could have part of their fee for the evening if she did.
They stopped after that.
rant over! Time for the next one!
