Only gutted because my niece's bit (riding dressage) happened during the break at 10.15! Never mind, ER knows her and will say thanks, but I was looking forward to seeing it- don't meet up very often. :(
Otherwise - quite a party! Can I have one like that when I hit 90!?

Yes, it was a live programme. Saw my little sis (Jo's mum) yesterday and she was so excited and will have been glued to the screen as well. Jo grooms and trains some of the Queen's horses and to be honest, I do admire the Queen for her knowledge and caring for them. Not particularly a monarchist otherwise, but I appreciate her dedication and I'm certainly not a Republican!
It had to happen, I suppose, precise dressage isn't as exciting as some of the other stuff going on - but just as highly skilled. :(

Great programme apart from Tweedle Ant and Tweedle Dec, still I suppose those born north of Watford need the work.

Agree with Baz. Ant and Dec were completely superfluous and annoying (as usual). Thought it was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed it.
