I can't believe the number of cast members who are leaving.
Emily, Roy, Jason, Michael, Sophie, Andy and Carla. I am more shocked at Roy. How can he leave us. The show will not be the same without all of them.

thank you hc, while i was awaiting a reply, I - being so nosey, went on to google it, and I cannot believe Les Dennis was in Corrie, last time I seen him, was it big brother, CDWM or one of those things, I really need to catch up
You've been away awhile.

I spotted Nessa in the Mr Selfridge trailer.Thought it was her, researched and yes she is in it. That's at least three ex Corrie stars in it.
I've got Nessa, Beckie - who am I missing?
I didn't realise I had been, I only thought I had watched it last week, I have my tv on but family and friends call so I keep volume turned down and it's only a nuisance in the corner, I do know my best program not to be missed is gogglebox, I just love that alison moffat, she makes me laugh heartily
I tried Gogglebox but it's not for me
took me a while hc, I'm hooked now

Sachs Parkinson who played Sian Powers. She was going to marry Sophie Webster.
Of course! She was also in that drama about the mill, called The Mill.
Corrie has been on a downwards slope for years when they tried to add a comedy twist to it and the gay storylines didn't help either
Comedy has always been an element of Corrie and is one of its greatest strengths. I find Sean incredibly annoying but I'm not bothered about him being gay, I much prefer Billy as a character.
Oh yes, Dev with his treadmill behind the counter in his shop, classic comedy!

I think not!
Not all of it works, but without the comic touches it would be grim at times. It has a good balance. I'd like Graham Proctor to come back.

The comedy element in Corrie has always been brilliant. Mary makes me laugh.
But it is the exchange between certain characters that really show the true brilliance of Corrie.
Sally and Tim, Steve and Lloyd interact really well - very funny at times, touching at others.
I'd still like to know how Izzy got her wheelchair up to Owens flat within 10 seconds without a chairlift
There was a stairlift and if you noticed she used a much smaller wheelchair in the flat than she usually uses
Glad Nessa's gone, wish she'd taken Dev, his two kids, Sarah and Bethany with her as none of them can act!
Oh yes! Nessa Is in Mr Selfridge!! I see that now.

Maddday is in Jericho too, playing the young daughter of the main character.

Sad about Roy leaving, and I hope he comes back.
Don't you just wish you had a County Council like they have? Kevin called them about graffiti, got straight through on the phone and they were out that day!! ha
