Our cleaning lady is just back from 2 weeks in Tenerife and tells us that she has never seen so many FAT teenaged British girls, tattooed,pushing prams with a child, complete with dummy in it's mouth, holiday making.
No sign of a male ( OH, partner, husband or whatever)

Perhaps they were at work and couldn't afford a holiday OR perhaps the teenagers had no idea who the father was.

Why? the weather in the Canary Islands is more guaranteed of sun than in Menorca. Many people who live in Spain (mainland) come to the Balearics for their holiday.

Sqad - your post evoked images of a town I lived in for 30 years on the East Coast of England. I daren't say the name as it might start sparks flying, but it was full of ladies like that in the summer months. No mrs o - it wasn't Whitby!
