Does anyone know why Disney's The Aristocats appears to have mostly french actors (even the theme song is partly sung in French) I know it is set in France but always wondered, why the french theme?
Even if it was based an old French story originally or something, Disney never usually has any worries about completely ignoring things like that. Hope this question makes sense

From this list the voice actors don't appear to be French...

I think it's just that the story is set in France; no real reason I guess, except that the Disney team felt that France is a swingin' place to be!

Oh right, fair enough. Thanks delboy3, dont know why I always though it was more French, doh!

Thomas O'Malley had an american accent and the mother cat was voiced by (I think) a Gabor.  Just set in Paris but there was an italian restaurant in it.  Do you fancy yourself as a bit of an aristo mycatis.
