Just been sat on the balcony and it is very warm, ducks are squabbling - they always make me giggle.

I was out for a hour or so a while back, didn't hear a lot of birdsong but
Petrol driven lawnmowers do tend to have that effect!

I was until next doors cat took a crap 10m from where I was sitting, the whiff drove me back indoors :-(

no. it's a bit windy for that. only got the noise of rooks and that's not that pleasant.

Sqad, if you were to sit quietly in your garden you might be able to harken to and monitor the tiding of magpies, murmuration of starlings, unkindness
of ravens, and exaltation of larks. I've been waiting for weeks to use those terms:) Tilly, at only 2 degrees outside I think I'll forgo the balcony.
