I just caught the last minute or so. Did the blonde woman jump onto the passing bus or into the river?
it is the last one eva

so I thought it was a bit of poesy - she's gone

actually whilst Tom was having his "do"
I thought she would run out into the traffic and get flattened

I thought the defence side was good: people lie so much that in the end you cant tell anything apart.
me either...pity.
Best legal series in years, I found it riveting. Maybe the ending was left as it was in case they may decide that after all they will bring it back.
or spin Martha off.
They rushed it and now we'll never know what happened to her .Did she get on the bus ? Did she jump in the drink ?
And why did Mickey not tell about the blood on the right hand sleeve of the jacket when the shooter was left handed before the jury gave the verdict .
Obviously he was going to get shot for being a grass and couldn't have cared less but they left so many loose ends .Another good series axed .
The series wasn't axed. Peter Moffat, the creator and writer has decided not to write any more episodes.

And, i believe, he has credited us with enough intelligence to read between the lines. No way was Martha going to stay when all they would be taking on from now on would be prosecution cases, so she's simply left - probably gone back home "I miss home" she said. Obviously, Billy dies. The drunkard ends up in rehab and everyone else lives happy ever after.
Thanks for that Ken .....lol.
I love Neil Stuke, he made the programme ,didn't want him to die :(
shaneystar2 Completely agree about Neil Stuke (Billy) he gave an excellent performance, he's a rather under rated actor.
I hope that Peter Moffat changes his mind! It's a shame that so many series
seem to have ended permanently recently.
Dont know whether this is true or not but im sure i read it somewhere that it will be on radio 4

Of course Billy dies. (Silly sod, should have visited his GP ages ago...) Glad Rupert got off with his Spooks co-star. The ending is very much left up in the air. Hope she jumped in the river so I don't have to watch stupid endings any more.
Have only just caught up with it, I did enjoy it, except the ending, I guessed she went into the river, why did Martha suddenly become unhinged? was it cos she caught Rupert making love, or because she lost the case, or the because she didn't want to be prosecution.

2 of my friends were barristers clerks (Temple), you wouldn't believe some of the cases, how they defended important men against paedo charges when they knew full well they were guilty, I couldn't believe they do this, but the winning is the be all and end all.
