It's the weekend! Not too bad out, but a bit damp.

I'm off to the canal today to see friends. I'm looking forward to that as I haven't seen them for a while.

Have a happy day everyone.

Morning chick. xxx :o} It's the best time of day, so it is! I was a bit late this morning, I went for a walk. Not far, but enough to say 'Hello' to the local wildlife.

It's supposed to warm up shortly.

Welcome to the morning thread by the way. :o}
Morning both.

Wide awake all night and bad case of trapped wind not helping.

Red sky just coming down here on the south coast but feels a little nippy,

Daughter & granddaughter coming later to celebrate Mothers Day with OH - yes we know its early but we have reasons 8-O

Morning jan my lovely xxx lots of belligerent looking cloud lurking about here at the moment. I'm hoping it gets bored and decides to go elsewhere.

What are you up to today? Whizzing about the countryside again? :o}
Morning both and everybody else who pops in, a little foggy here in the eastern shires at present. Hope it warms up in Bucks soon chick.

Enjoy your day with friends on the canal boaty, OH and I are off into town today to see favourite youngest daughter, and I'm sure the shops will play a part in the day sometime!

Morning BT. Always good to see friends and family mate.

Women. Town. Shops. = expensive. :o}
kind of a happy face like :)

meant to be 8-) actually cos I wear specs
Morning puter xx It's not the trapped wind that's a bother. It's the ESCAPED wind that sends me reeling.
Boaty, off to Zumba for an 8am class then home to do not too much really. The weather is so nice this weekend that the grockles will be out in force. Day trippers/weekenders from London etc. It'll be like that until after the Aug bank holiday. That's the trouble with living in a touristy seaside town. Hey ho, I fancy a walk over the Downs today. Should be lovely.... and peaceful and grockle free.
hi wbm n all- a dryish start in the C of A- daylight not here yet - but not too far away
Question Author
Morning minty. xxx Everyone OK this morning? :o}

Right, got you chick. :o} Yes, the local wildlife are used to seeing me early in the morning. They just look at me as if to say 'Morning Squire' then carry on with whatever they were doing. If I have anything foodlike I take it for them, but meat scraps etc. are reserved for the two hedgehogs that live in my back garden.
Hi Minty xx How was WSS last night?
Looks not bad here..dry at least !
morning beej xx
Question Author
