For those wanting to know the titles of songs and their artistes - try putting on the teletext subtitles page 888 occasionally.

I nearly always watch TV with subtitles on - slightly hard of hearing and too much noise coming from the kids - and yes, they do often put up the name of song and artist, even with the classical bits. Pity you can't record sub titles though.

If you use Sky (possibly also Freeview) the subtitles DO get recorded (sometimes unintentionally as we also have them on most of the time).
