Now, now. That is not the answer I expect to a civilised question about an intelligent quiz show.

But I agree :D
I didn't notice that. In what way?
Do you find the different camera shots on the Wall off-putting? They show it face-on, side -on, full-screen, part-screen. Wish they'd just keep it still!

Pixie, I pause it and try to work it out myself, otherwise I am totally distracted by the camera angles.

I just thought the Board Gamers vague answers were accepted where the other side's weren't.

And I do wish Victoria would wear dresses that fit her.
I did think that their questions, although hard, were easier than the other teams.

Do agree on the dresses though!
I wish she would, too - the bodices are lovely, it's when she stands up.....
Victoria's dresses look fine to me ;-)
After two clues the oenophiles answer "caps" was rejected by Victoria who needed the full answer "blue caps" (which the Gamers gave). Then, after four clues, the Gamers answered "flowers" which was accepted with full marks, even though Victoria stated that the expected answer was "red flowers". Inconsistent, but what do you expect from a woman whose only talent is a name inherited from her witty father?
Also poker.
hc, I commented on that too last night. Victoria had insisted on an ACCURATE answer then in the next question she accepted a vaguer one from the board gamers, as you said. Best quiz on TV.
Quite so, Jim
Jonathan. I disagree with your perception of VC. She's very intelligent and extremely witty.

Unfair, JJ She has a first class degree and is a fine presenter. I miss Balderdash and Piffle.

That is one of the inconsistencies I noticed, though.
I'm sure she's only taking instruction from the producers in the gallery via an earpiece.

JJ, you clearly have no idea about this very smart and intelligent ladies' credentials.
Question Author
Oh, Chill, if you are going to use an apostrophe do it properly. Victoria is one lady, so it's lady's credentials.
hc...you were obviously listening in to my conversation last night! I remarked on both the marking AND the dress.
On at least one occasion it seemed to me that she changed her ruling on acceptability, and I assumed this was on instruction from the Production team. And this did seem to favour the BGs a bit, but they had a thumping winning margin didn't they, so probably not critical.
Oh, Chill, if you are going to use an apostrophe do it properly. Victoria is one lady, so it's lady's credentials.
------------
Fair one. Also, why did I use plural and not singular?
Brain fade!

I suspect you were too busy thinking about Victoria in that dress, Chill :D
