It's the penultimate episode tomorrow night.

Will you miss Suchet's masterful performances as Christie's greatest detective, or will you be glad to see the back of him and his effete mince-athons?

As I am an Agatha Christie mega-fan, I think that David Suchet and Joan Hickson, can never be replaced.
Glad to see the back of it. Poirot was Belguim, Suchet is not. I hate fake accents. Come to think of it I am not an Agatha Christie fan. No doubt they will be showing repeats for years to come, as they do with all rubbish TV.
Oh Jeza, how could you?
I loved the Poirot programmes where there was an element of comedy in them (particularly in the relationships between Poirot, Hastings, Miss Lemon and Inspector Japp).

The more recent ones tend to have had screenwriters and directors who've only concentrated on the 'mystery' aspects of Agatha Chritie's works, rather than examining the often comedic interplay between Poirot and his colleagues. Bring back the old style for me!
I will him. I am a big fan of Agatha Christie. It will be sad for me when I know he will be no more. I've seen the repeats over and over again also the remakes.
I will miss him^^
I like Agatha Christie, it is a shame Poirot is ending.
I loved the Agatha Christie books, at one time I owned everyone she had ever written. I even have a letter from her regarding one of her books. But I have never got involved with Poirot. I don't know why either, just one of those things.
He gets killed in tomorrows last episode apparently!
To be honest, I had no idea he was still filming these old Agatha Christies, I thought they were all repeats.
How many times will he be killed?
I enjoy a wee Poirot now and again, it gets me all warm and fuzzy for a bygone era where urchins knew their place and detectives never had to send an invoice for their services.

I'm afraid I have to disagree with you about Joan Hickson. Great though she was as Miss Marple, I think that Julie McKenzie is pretty much perfect in the role.

trt - he doesn't get killed in tonight's episode.

There's another next week.
Margaret Rutherford will always be Miss Marple to me.
Fans of Poirot shouldn't worry. I'm sure they'll be able to watch him to their hearts content on Alibi channel. New Tricks is repeated so often there that if you watched them all you'd know the scripts off by heart.
