if she lives to be a hundred she may not be reigning on the throne, so perhaps Charles. He would be King after all, that is if he lives that long to take over the reins. If not then William, it is the monarchs job isn't it?

But if she lives to be 100, she would still be on the throne. She's opposed to abdication because she remembers the whole Edward VIII thing (and according to books I've read about her, still blames the abdication on her own father's early death).

So...if she is still Queen...it'll be tricky.
