Unbelievable!

I suppose it'll cost us a freekin fortune to give her a new ID as well :(

shes not getting a new ID but info on how to keep a low profile etc.

Our do gooder parole board with their degrees in social sciences etc have decided shes no longer a danger to the public so have decided that she should be out

she never was a danger to the public per se...it was kids, specifically her own.

These bleeding heart do-gooders arent fit for purpose

People serve more time for robbery, its a phukking disgrace of the highest order letting this low life garbage out after such a short time.

I hope those muppets on the parole board hang their heads in shame

I can only hope that there is more to this than meets the eye.

At first sight, it appears that the Parole Board have said 'OK, murderer - tick, sadist - tick, unfit to live in civilised society - tick ... OK, let her out.'

There has to be more to it than that - maybe she is being referred to a secure psychiatric facility?

We will have to wait and see, but I cannot believe this story pans out as it first appears.
Confused, puzzled -- probably will be angry about it soon enough. This sort of decision just doesn't make sense on the face of it. There has to be more to it -- surely?
If the authorities had shown half the attention to the young lad that she is going to get regarding hiding her identity etc, perhaps he might still be alive.

Have to say I agree with bazwillrun, it's a disgrace - do people really think her 4+ years has made her rehabilitate and now know what she did was wrong? A face like that would be easy to spot so I reckon a new ID IS on the cards.
Prudie - the media advises she now weighs over twenty stone, and will have her hair cut and dyed - that should pretty much render her unrecogniseable physicaly - unless someone makes it their business to find her.
Andy it must be my screen settings, she looks 20 stone already in that picture.

Good job it is a BBC report, had it been a Daily Mail report, all the usual abusive comments would have been made.

But more information courtesy of the Daily Mail,

/// After spending a stint in a parole hostel, Connelly will be allowed to move into a private home. Officials will be keen to learn how well she integrates back into society and if she forms a new relationship. ///

/// Social services will be alerted should she get pregnant and would almost certainly apply to have the baby taken into care. Connelly has told friends how she dreams of looking for men on her release. ///

AOG - "Good job it is a BBC report, had it been a Daily Mail report, all the usual abusive comments would have been made."

That sounds slightly paranoid on your part AOG.

I am sure the Mail will be all over this like a rash - it ticks all their readership buttons.

Can't they sterilise her, just in case?
Bl@@dy disgusting.

oh good grief! ...... i feel sick
My attitude to these sort of things is fairly blazé. They've done their time, blah blah, but I just can't get my head around why they've made this decision.
another disgraceful decision, according to the news she will not be getting a new ID, in which case where will she move to?
True, she's done her time but it doesn't put much value on a small boys life does it?
