I really enjoyed this show on Friday night. I wish they'd bring it back, does anyone agree?

To be honest, I was watching something else and swapping over during a break. On what I saw, I thought the quality of knowledge was poor (Apart from Jo Brand). I doubt that Channel 4 will resurrect it, but the hardest task will be finding someone who could step into William G. Stewart's shoes - not an easy task. It will only work in it's original format.
Yes. I remember it fondly.
It was my favourite quiz show. My daughters swear they did well in general studies exam at school because they watched this show and picked up lots of interesting stuff!
We used to watch it and three of our family - including me took part - none of us won unfortunately but we had a brilliant day. I didn't realise that it was on on Friday
Unfortunately, it was nothing like the original show - just so-called celebrities trying to be funny and not taking it seriously. The original show was great, but nowadays the TV companies want some sort of angle (voting people off etc) and not a straightforward quiz show. William G was very tough but fair the times I was on it.
Oh Brainiac - I made it onto it 2000,
did wonders for my reputation as a brain dead geek.
Agree with previous comments i.e.
1) Would need to be in its old format
2) Someone who could possibly take over where William G. Stewart finished.

I wish they would bring it back. I'm not sure why it was ever let go.
