Was looking for the lyrics of a song - Someone to Watch Over Me - and found this fabulous singer on Youtube. What a voice, ended up listening to about five of her songs. You can just lie back and let the music wash over you.

I was lucky enough to see her with Oscar Peterson at the Palladium in around 1980. She was just magnificent. One of those brilliant voices that, as you say, can wash over you.
