How can they do this to such a classic film? Is it because people are incapable of watching in Black and White anymore.

I could not think of anything worse than sitting down to watch this wonderful film and find it colourised!

The film was colorised in the 1980's, which Capra diod not aprove of but it's a studio decision.
I agree they should have left it alone.

I'd agree with that, I was given some Laurel and Hardy dvds the other year that had been colourised, they were awful!

I presume you can still get it in black and white, so there's a choice.

I agree. Who in their right minds would want to watch such a classic film like this, in colour?! It completely ruins the originality of it... if that's the right word to use.

I used to watch this with my Dad. Lovely film - but should definitely be kept in it's original form.

yes mamya but I have seen it being said that it is recolourised - suggesting that it was colour in the first place which of course it never was.
