Today I found among my CD collection an album by David Gray, and it got me thinking how most singers disappear after one or two albums, despite looking like they'll be in it for the long term. Others I can think of are Gabrielle, Tori Amos, Sheryl Crow, Texas, The Cranberries, Eliza Doolittle...Who else would you put in that category?

Tori Amos shouldn't be in this list...she's released 13 albums, she's a lot bigger in the USA than here.

Texas split up, Sharleen Spiteri is one of the best live gigs I've ever seen.

Sheryl Crow is still releasing stuff (and I used to think she was as hot as hell!)
