I dont know but it cracks me up every time.  Peter Kay is just brilliant.

I loved Max and Paddy and had it on video but cant find it.  My daughter thought that bit was really funny but I don't know why he does it.
..I think it was an attempt at a "catch phrase" , it seems to have worked , quite a few people say it to me at work...I have no idea why?..ha
Yeah think the catchphrase is the only reason. I dont remember Max saying it on Phoenix Nights though  ?
Wasn't it something to do with a guy in a pub eating a suckling pig in the episode with the pig?
