Cutting it

Just watching the first episode of the new series.  I cant remember what happened at the end of the last series, can anyone enlighten me.  Thanks in advance.

Finn decided to leave because he realised it wouldnt work with him and Allie.  Ruby told Gavin he was Ralfie's dad because Finn had had the snip 11 years before so it couldnt be his baby.  Ruby left because she was upset Gavin had slept with Allie while they were together and realised that Gavin had always wanted Allie not her.  Oh, and on the hairdressing side of the show Allie and Gavin entered a big competition in Manchester and won it. Gavin and Allie met on a bridge to talk about their feelings and told each other they shouldnt get back together and shouldnt live in the pas and then..... it ended!!
