I love getting into a gripping series. Most of the things I watch these days are total and utter rubbish. Anyone got anything to recommend? I love crime things but I'm open to watching anything as long as its good :-)

xoxo.

oh yeah forgot that ^ love BBT. Have you watched any Modern Family ummmm, very very funny :-)
No, what channel?

I don't have sky :-(

I can't complain as it was me who cancelled it.....spending the evening watching people channel hop drove me bonkers.
I used to love Roughnecks, Clocking Off, When the Boat comes In and the original Upstairs, Downstairs.
Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes, and Big Bang Theory.
Game of Thrones- CSI (still) - Grimm, don't know why - NCIS - Lewis - The Middle - Big Bang Theory
Can beleive no one has said Prison Break all the series , it was a brilliant series we still crack jokes about Tbag and his pocket ( inside out and some poor chap holding it). You can get it from Amazon or Blockbuster
The Sopranos!
Just remembered North and South, made me a mini expert of the American Civil War! Does anyone recall The Plane Makers in the '60s, seem to remember watching that every week, Patrick Wymark and Rosemary Leech, I think?
Wire in the Blood.

B00 - once upon a time looks really good, yet another series I meant to watch but missed the beginning of!
I liked the original upstairs downstairs tizzi - did you watch any of the more recent series? What did you think?
I was also really into Ashes to Ashes and Life on Mars when they were on tony!

I saw a few episodes from the first series of Prison Break nanny, I just couldn't get into it although I know its had a massive following.
I've just had so many good responses on here! Thanks ever so much for the interest!
The Syndicate on BBC has been good, but last one tonight unfortunately.

From a few years ago definitely Life on Mars.
At present Scott and Bailey.
Really old stuff, Tales of the Unexpected, brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.

More recently, Bugs - I'd like to re-watch it to see which technologies made it into production.

Currently, Homeland.
Homeland is great! I also agree with Scott and Bailey.
ashes to ashes..anything with Robson Greene...rebus....taggart...
I missed Ashes to Ashes when it was on tv. but found it on Demand on cable,
enjoying so far.
We never miss the new Hawaii 5-0 nice entertaining twaddle and the actors are easy on the eye for a nice bit of escapism. Then there's NCIS, NCIS-LA
and Grimm and Once upon a time, Rizzoli and Isles, Body of Proof and Castle. It's still possible to watch North and South on sky sometimes, and the original Upstairs Downstairs every weekend is on at weekends. I wish someone would repeat the Lord Peter Wimsey stories
I loved Prison Break! Wire in the Blood, Cracker, Grey's Anatomy, Er, (and House of course), Jericho, Law & Order SVU and CSI NY and sometimes Criminal Minds. I enjoyed The Sarah Connor Chronicles if you liked the Terminator films though it was discontinued. Flashforward was good, more earlier on as I found it hard to get back into after a long season break.

Recent series' I've loved have been Gossip Girl (xoxo haha!), Pretty Little Liars, Lost Girl. Got really into The Secret Circle, Vampire Diaries (more teen kinda drama - used to be a bit Buffy/Roswell fan) and Grimm but losing interest as they go on as they've got a bit sillier. Really enjoyed Rookie Blue too and used to like Boomtown when it was on. Cutting It too was good.

The first episode of Alcatraz was promising.
if you want a laugh...still game ...
Twondeliciouslyndaft ones
