Does Midsomer become more flummoxing with each episode? :o) Maybe I was just very tired last night but when the young man (Simon?) finally spoke and said, 'I think I missed a few points, can we go over it again?' I did wonder whether it was an ad-lib because that was how I felt. :o)

Did seem a bit strange, but think it was just trying to convey that his ordeal was over and was starting to speak again and on his way back to being normal.....
I think, having heard the whole story,as related by Barnaby, including knowing he was the sole heir to the estate,he realised he needed to hear the whole story,
from the start.
The story lines are getting more ridiculous with each episode.

I find it hard to believe if you see a tree swinging towards you or a gargoyle falling off a roof towards you, you just stand still and let it hit you. The father, Ludovic, must have lay down on the floor and let the gargoyle land on his head. If it had hit his head while he was standing up he wouldn't have ended up as he did.

Where did Sasha "borrow" the soldiers from to help out in the Battle of Naseby re-inactment. No doubt their CO was in agreement. Crazy.

What I did like was that the twins Julian & Toby, were played to appear completely different people by the same actor, James Callis. Well done. I wasn't sure until the credits ran that it was the same actor. I half expected them to be brothers.
And we hardly saw the dog.....

Yes pator and daftgrandad, I understood it really, I was joking :o)... it was just Neil Dudgeon's (Barnaby) expression I found funny, it sort of said 'You're confused? We're all confused after this script' :o)

I thought all of the same things Dodger...no idea where the soldiers came from...and Ludovik would have been a yukky flat splat if that had fallen on him. I'll still watch every episode though, Neil Dudgeon and Jason Hughes are a lovely treat. :o)

Postdog, Sykes was a bit busy in wardrobe...
