I wasn't too keen on his acting ability however, I thought he did give a pretty good performance for his last show.

I'd be sad to see him leave but far less so if he takes his two wooden sons with him. I wish they'd bring back Sean Slater. The only decent eye candy they've had in years.

His performances were all delivered in the same monotone voice. He just went through the motions as David Essex. No acting ability whatsoever.
