Where is John Stape supposed to be? There is never any mention of the police looking for him. Surely having jumped from the roof he would have been too injured to make a run for it. (I know it isn't real)

He's probably living in the attics, they run all down the street from on ehosue to the other like my old house.

Could you really access next door's house just by going up into the attic?

I seem to remember a story line based on that a few years ago.Not sure but was it Ken Barlow and Les Battersby?

Yes Mrs Chappie a friend of mine lived in a terrace house that when in the roof space there was no dividing wall between all the houses. It was a fire risk apart from anything else so that was taken care of eventually by work being doing to construct dividing walls in the attic.

Yes hc4361 I remember now, that was so funny.
But very strange there is no mention of him being looked for.

Daisya, I can't quite put my finger on why but I'd feel quite uncomfortable about that. There's something rather spooky about it....or it that just me?

The last I saw was that he had been picked up by CCTV on a ferry to Ireland, but as the actor has left the cast I suppose we won't see him again.

Don't know cara.............I think I read it in one of the reviews. There was an article by the actor saying he was pleased to have left as he felt people were starting to hate him.

The viewers ratings has fallen by 3 million the past 6 weeks due to silly story-lines which i agree as I have stopped watching it myself.

thanks for that Craft, I must have missed that bit, I had been on holiday for 3 weeks and catching up on recordings is a bit hit and miss. I'm a lifelong corrie fan since day 1 but have to admit the standard has dropped lately and story lines gone a bit awry.

Gail's dad didn't make an exit as such, he just disappeared off the radar shortly after lending Gail's last husband a few grand (Reece Dinsdale, aka Matthew from Home to Roost with John Thaw).

How strange that they just seem to disappear. A bit like Martin. If I remember correctly, he didn't move far away but they've never seen him since.

Well, I know it'd be hard to actually "see" him as he's left....but they could at least pretend he's on the phone or summat. :o)
