Pay Pal have informed me that they will soon be updating their user payment agreement. They have given my first and last name, and I am wondering if this is a spam or genuine. Has anyone else received same?

No I haven't!.....not at present!...........be careful carlton!.......
I have received one, but as I never understand what they are talking about I just ignored it. I also had one telling me my credit card was coming to an end and as it is still viable until October, I ignored that too.
And deleted it and put it in my waste basket.

Hmmmmmm?????
I've had one as well carlton, earlier this week.
I'd ignore it for now carlton!........better safe than sorry!........
Do be cautious of course, but if they have your first and last names, it is less likely to be spam.

Do you use Pay Pal regularly?
While I'm pleased to see that you're hesitant about believing the content of unsolicited emails, Carlton23, I can tell you that the one which you've received is likely to be 100% genuine.

There's a similar email in my Inbox. It uses my full name (which, as your post implies, is a good test of authenticity). Going into 'Properties' for that mail show the correct domain name sending it. Further, while there's a link to click on, there's also an alternative option to go to the main Paypal website. As long as you've got the same mail as me (which, seems to be likely because of the timing and the use of your full name), I'm prepared to guarantee its authenticity.

Thanks all. Off to bed now....nighty night.
night carlton, sleep well!..........
omg Chris, perhaps I should have read it before I deleted it. I am so suspicious that I never bother to read anything like that.
Is it still in your trash star? You can read the changes on their website anyway. It is genuine.

Ooops! I recieved one too and deleted it straight away, just thought they were trying to sell me something.
I'm not a big Pay-Pal user only used 'em twice. Is it something I should look into? If I ignore it will it make any difference?

Wow, I got one yesterday and deleted it A.S.A.P. as it was sent to an e mail address that I have, but not the one I registered with pay-pal.
allgram.
Just read your post and the link ABerrant and see I don't have to do anything if I accept the changes, which suits me. I like using PayPal as it means I don't have to look for my card every time I decide to buy something. Very useful. (I am a lazybones, I know where it is but this computer is upstairs and my purse is downstairs)
