well that explains why i couldnt find it then

thank you
can you not select bbc1 and then press the red button,
then access it from there ?
The iplayer can only access programs via the internet.

So you would need access to a router in your house and a computer.

If you have a Wii you can connect that to your TV then link it to your wi fi router, then watch iplayer on your TV via the Wii. This is built into the Wii. I think the Xbox and PS3 can also do this but you may need to buy a wireless adapter for the Xbox/PS3.

Also some TVs now have the ability to connect to your router directly (via wi fi) and access all sorts of internet pages via your router (YouTube, iPlayer, LoveFlim etc).

These are called "smart TVs" and many companies are now selling them (Sony, Samsung etc). Some of these smart TVs even have web browser built in to them.

I think the service you are talking about is only available if you can get cable.
Sky makes you pay for any extras, such as recording a missed programme.
VHG is correct, you can get BBCi through the Wii, my grandson has done it at home, they have Sky tv. But I am sure you can get it if you have Virgin (cable) TV.
You can get it on Virgin cable tv, along with 4OD.
