i'v never bothered to watch 24 and i just want the 411 on it. WHATS IT ABOUT?

It follows the adventures of Jack Bauer, and agent for the Los Angeles branch of the Counter Terrorist Unit. Each season consists of 24 episodes that each cover an hour of each day.

Jack shoots a lot of people and saves the US from various convoluted terrorist plots. Whilst the later seasons don't quite have the tension and "what the hell is going to happen next?" feel of the earlier ones, it's still well worth a watch.

I think since it switched to Sky One it is interrupted too much by the adverts  it is better to tape it and fast forward over ads.  I never miss an episode one of the best series on TV

It's not bad to spend lots of hours watching, I think they deliberately set it up so you have to watch 2 or 3 episodes at a time to get into it.

Borrow the DVD from someone, there are no adverts to skip.
