Hawaii Five O intro

I love the intro to Hawaii Five O. People keep saying to me "I remember the canoes."

I only sort of.

Can someone please let me know what season the intro changed and showed the men in the canoes. I'm sure there is a Hawaiin name for them but I only know them as canoes

Do you mean the old series with Tom Selleck? The current remake showing in UK is still in its first series. I watch that every week but don't recall canoes sorry.
