Just finished watching it and absolutely clueless as to what went on (in defence of my stupidity, I watched in little bits over a number of nights).

You're not the only one! I recorded all 5 episodes so I could watch them all at once. I watched the first one and gave up on the other four! Lol.
I couldn't work it out properly either.
It had an extremely weak ending which didn't do the other episodes justice. Pun intended.
It featured a barrister who had moved with his family from London to East Anglia after he had a breakdown. The reason for that was that he defended a man who blew up a car containing (unwittingly) a young boy who died. He is a barrister that strongly believes in defending innocent people. He never took on a briedf that he believed was guilty or told him he was guilty.
He than stumbled across the aquitted defendent and realised he was guilty- in fact hecnfessed. He then shot him. The story line was then linked to his detection by a dysfunctional detective who kept all information in his brain. When he was about to reveal and arret theister his own domestic crisis ended up in his own death, and with it the knowledge of evidence he had pieced together.
The next link was his old friend fromyears ago who asked for his defence. He too claimed innocence and when he found out the truth Travis, the barrister shot him also.
It was left I believe making the vewer eieve he got away with the two shootings and that justice, albeit vigilante, was served - hence title 'Injustice'.
Personally I was rivetted. Brilliant drama.
Thank you for that, I think you are right about the ending.
I'm with you on this Paul, brilliant drama.

Another poster on another thread said loose ends were left, which indeed there were, but with a little thought it was easy to see how the rest of the untold story would pan out.
Thanks Paul, now I'm totally glad I didn't waste time watching it! I couldn't get into The Shadow Line either on BBC and I usually love dramas.
I could'nt get into it at first but stuck with it andwas glad I did, He is gorgeous!!!!!
Thanks Paul for the resumé. Whilst I enjoyed the programme and the acting was excellent I thought some of the plot seemed a bit weak.

How did he obtain the computer dredged up from the Thames? How did he manage to go through all of the CCTV footage to find the piece of the defendant throwing the computer into the Thames. He wouldn't have known where to look and that's without obtaining all of the CCTV tapes to vet them all! Having got the coputer would it have been operating for him to find the child porography on it?

I think it was necessary to suspend disbelief on a number of occasions, but it was very watchable.
i thoroughly enjoyed it although the flash backs/forwards were a bit annoying! xx
Oh Tizzi - Shadowline was drama at it's very best.Wasn't Gatehouse the most creepy guy you have ever seen.

Supermike - yes a bit of writers licence here I think to give us a oo plot.
I thought that he put two and two together about the child pornography when he talked to his ex-wife and hadn't actually been able to see anything on the computer. He conned the murderer. I thought it was great.
