im well nox thanks....i was reading the ongoing thread in BS, was very tempted to post another perspective, but , i thought best not !!!!!!! hope the family are well :)
Yeah I dipped my toe in there as well and decided to leave it for similar reasons but i suspect it'll run for a bit....
yeah family are well thanks, spent a fair bit of time with my eldest daughter lately which is nice and the lads are all good, so life's nice at the moment, thanks for asking.
I really enjoyed it but where have I seen the actor who the lead actor met in the supermarket?
It could be any of the fiims and programmes listed here, but I would guess that Eastenders is the most likely.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0233215/
yes, it was excellent and to be recommended - even the "not interested in TV dramas husband" liked it.
Watched it quite by chance as we were away from home for a few days. i was disappointed when it ended as I didnt know it was part 1 of 3. Having a parent with Alzheimers, I felt he played a good part, and some of the things he did reminded me of what my mother used to do. I think he could be putting on an act though, and there is nothing wrong with him?

jules. thats a very interesting theory, tonights episode was really good.
No I watched the new one on ITV............excellent!!
Jules, Jim Broadbent's Mum had alzheimers, so he had plenty of experience to draw on when playing the part.
i recorded that one crafty, glad it's a good one.
i wonder what happened all those years ago in exile..
I possibly agree that he could be faking it, but the last revelation about the name is confusing.
yeah thought it was very good.
The old friend is played by Shaun Dooley - I've seen him on stage and hew as very good.

Everyone in it is good. Olivia Coleman (who plays the sister) has gone up in my estimation. And how wonderful to see Claire Goose again, looking very sexy, and with RED HAIR! Oh man...
I've just finished the second one... I'm not sure how I feel about it at the moment, I think it's a bit slow really but I'm interested to know what's next. I want to know what craft watched in itv instead.
@China Doll - you find Exile a bit slow?! I'm surprised, but at least you're enjoying it. I'm out tomorrow so will have to avoid this thread (and swear Mrs Backdrifter to silence) then i-player it on Wednesday.

I read the synopsis of the ITV thing, sounded like yet another detective and sidekick caper - yawn...
Is it that Case Sensitive thing? I quite liked the sound of that but when I went to have a look at it on iplayer, it wasn't up yet. Which is ok as I'm happy to wait and watch it all together.

And yeah, I find exile really very slow. I'm enjoying the acting and cast whcih is why I'll see it through but am not feeling any form of tension, need or excitment about the storyline and where it's going at all.
I'm confused, you said you were interested to see what happens next then said you weren't. I'm staggered anyone could find it really slow or lacking in tension, I can't believe you're describing the same thing.
I'm interested to see what happens because I've invested time watching these two episodes andI think the cast is good and so is the acting. I'm not finding the story line particularly tense or thrilling.
