postmodernism in films means everything that is after modern. bit confusing i know, but there are old fashioned ways of filming, like shooting a sequence from beginning to end, the film having a beginning a middle and an end. in modern films, like tarantino films, he confuses the beginnings middles and ends so the audience doesnt quite know where they are in the film. when it comes to postmodernism there are no set rules. i guess it could be classed as a new set of rules for a film, a totally different idea never tried before. the boundaries are really not that clear...believe me, i studied it for three years at university and there are no definite answers, just ideas.
