Can't remember exactly, but someone stole a car and the headmistress was knocked down and killed. She grassed on all involved to save herself. Someone went to prison and Edna sent her back to live with her father.

Yes I'm sure it was a different actress. I was going to post this question myself, as I couldn't remember. Katie mentioned someone called Reynolds going to prison.

It was definately a different actress before. The one playing Eve now is singer Suzanne Shaw who used to be in "Hear Say".

As caslass has said a group of Eve's friends stole a car from Hotton to get back to the village and Marc Reynolds was driving, killing their teacher. Eve convinced them all to keep it a secret and later slept with Marc who was going out with Donna Windsor at the time. Marc later confessed and Edna saw Eve kicking Battley and realised she wasn't the sweet innocent person she thought she was so sent her to live wiith her aunt. Raine Davidson who has appeared in Brookside and Crossroads was the original actress and she is about to join Holby City. Eve is about to get her claws into Ryan next !!
