I had to throw out my old winter coat, beyond repair :-(
So far not found anything suitable in the charity shops.
Evelyn wants me to but a new one, bit I do love a bargain :-)

Morning Boaty, been raining here aswell overnight. against all advice went to bank yesterday, just as well in some ways I have a new card and needed to go to local branch to activate it with new PIN. Computer said no! After some queuing, no one in branch could activate it either, new PIN ordered again, but got enough cash to tide us over. DVT clinic later for me.

Morning tony. When I got a new card I was able to use the same pin.

Same here, but had to use it in a machine first before I could click and swipe.

My old card was replaced because of a suspected fraud attempt that bank had noticed and stopped, so it was like applying for new account, I had all relelavent documents with me to prove it was me.

Good security. Someone tried to access my account in Portugal, they didn't succeed but the bank informed me.

The Early Bird sails on into the Tuesday dawn, laundry flapping from the yardarms, the smell of McMintys soup creeping from the galley, and the sound of snoring from the hammocks down below.

tony i did, ventured to holloway road, which is north London to see if i can find a bag i am after, no joy so far.

Yes Boaty, although a bit of a trudge and queing because of limited number of people in bank at any one time, I'm pleased with the action they took.

I told Evelyn about my dream, in which she gave me a dish of cat food, and to share it between the cat and my son!
