hiya

I hurt my back and i am awaiting full diagnosis as the problem has triggered other issues.
Having lost my job due to 10 weeks off with back issues i am on employment support (like incapacity as it was)

I have recieved a copy of adult education book and want to do a 1 eve a week course on sugar craft and wondered do i need to tell benefits agency as this isnt for work etc but is still education in a way as i am learning

any one know if i need to tell them or not?

DWP would only be interested if you were able to attend a daytime college course.

Unless the course leads to a specific qualification then perhaps you should think of it as an evening leisure activity rather than a training course.
