I purchased a gadget from Tv Deals via the internet on the 2nd February and despite reading that it could take up to 28 days I thought it would arrive in time for a birthday gift as it was listed as ''In Stock'. Anyway many emails later and one very rude reply refering to the 28 days poss delivery I still have not received the item. I have emailed again only to be told that there is now a further 7-10 days delay yet it is being listed as 'Limited Stock'. What are my rights or is it worth waiting the extra week or so more as I do want the item and it is a very competitive price? Thank you.

Looks like you will have grin and bear it unless the seller has broken the terms of the contract by failing to deliver within an agreed time span.

However, if your purchase qualifies under the Distance Selling Regulations you have a right to cancel within a set period from the date of receipt of the goods.

Mind you if you were satisfied with them upon receipt it would seem pointless sending them back but you'd have got it off your chest.
It sounds like they could be going tits up.

If they do, and you paid by credit card, you will be protected.
